What wrighter said but after looking at the "original" maybe it's a choice ?
I love the visual look. If anything is nostalgia, this is, and it looks really unique compared to pretty much everything out there now.

At first I was going to use PBR here, but it didn't look good with this scene, and it certainly didn't look like orginal, and it took a lot of space.
So I went back to simple classic shading + some AO + few hardcoded shadows.
I wanted to show all the buildings from the game (except for the Gral). And I did.
If you are interested I also did playable cover of Homm3. You can play it at heroes.ca7.eu

the colors make it look kinda bland on one hand but on the other they add some charm to it. also a lot geometry going on. motivational thumbs ;)

The colors are kinda flat for me... But I imagine, it is not too easy to make a perfect HMM3 Tower image color reflection in just 4k.
