It's really good. I expected it to rank higher in the compo. Not sure at the expense of which one of the other pieces, but still. Feels more like a 1st or 2nd position. Regardless, amazing work.

This is such a beautiful image, the colours, composition, pose, geometry and rendering are all so well executed and nicely balanced.

Skin texture and varying radius of extremities might be achieved using tangent bundles of the underlying primitives.
=> I did not check the code, I do not know the author, I just described how I wouldl try to achieve this :)
