The Final after the previous one is back! The last real Amiga diskmag..
Against the odds! It's here! Only Amiga made it possible..

Hopefully there will be a nice new online version in the future :)

Great for releasing an Amiga diskmag in 2024.. (Although probably the last one)
Never say never indeed! I would say keep up the good work, but since it's unsure there will be a #21 is just take my hat off for making this 20th issue possible!

Seriously, this is soothing my oldschool demoscene soul so much! I thought that diskmags had been stomped to the ground by all those so called social media. Oh boy, how fortunate I am to be wrong :) Please, keep them going!

Really impressive that this mag is still alive, and even better that this issue includes, among other things, some amazing interviews by Ghandy! Looking forward to reading the rest. Great work by the JP team.

I've just launched it on my Amiga. A solid piece of journalism. Thank you - good job.

Nice articles (liked a lot the one about diskpacks, interesting insights) wrapped in a nice interface. The outro pic is my new workbench wallpaper. Looking forward to see another last issue.

I made the original diskmag engine many years ago, but was not directly involved in JP20 so this is not a self thumb.

Lovely to see another JP 😁

People from the Demoscene Logo Gallery were so nice to make a capture for YouTube, so you can get a first impression even without getting the emulator running or liberating your old Amiga from the dust. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OSye6m61bE

@tFt: Amiga AGA. And setpatch must have been run beforehand.

@REST Thanks for your kind words, we really appreciate that as we began working on this issue around 9 months ago.

I've read some of the articles and so far I've enjoyed the mag very much.

In his article about diskmags Ghandy speculates that I might be "burned out" from writing about the demoscene. This may be true; I have written so much about the demoscene in my life that it's not really fun any more. But if somebody else wanted to start a new diskmag I'd be ready to contribute a couple of articles from time to time.

Nice work Ghandy/team. I didn't even know this was in the pipeline. I would have gladly produced some ascii for you. Maybe next time. :)

(I'll make one mod for the next issue, ok? ;)

You can also read the articles with a simple texteditor if your hardware or emulator doesn't want to work. You will find them in the directory data and then search for the directory articles.

Wow, great title and end picture, fitting music and great articles. Gives a cosy feeling while reading through. On one hand it feels old - on the other hand so elite/ outstanding reading a diskmag in 2024. Thank you!
