Again, looking forward to use it in the next 4k ;) (we didn't have the attack/sustain/release when we did the music for 4kmdr)

The only tiny details I miss is the ability to play notes on the keyboard, tracker style. But this is great. :D

so GM stands for General MIDI and DLS for DownLoadable Sounds
but I still dont understand what loop start and loop length is

Thanks for this :)

SLeo: samples in tracked music can loop...I mean, other than saying that it's pretty self-explanatory. It's good for like bass samples.

Using windows GM samples in 4k intros is cheating in my eye. Period. Be a man and code a synth.

Now, there is a little difference between using system code and system data. Using system code is a lesser sin. Using system data is a capital sin.

I just tried using this tool in Vista x64. It's very.. silent.

Ah, noticed that the GM samples are available and can be saved. I just can't play/listen to them.

Right tool at the right time : just for offsets, lenghts, and save option

Now that I've switched to 32bit Vista, I'm getting the same problem as bigcheese. Oddly enough, I'm also getting the problem in my personal gm.dls tool that I created, so something is fishy :-)
