Wow. That's something original! :) Let's add every single run of this intro to pouet's database as a seperate prod! :D

I don't get the screenshot scene but still amazing with the tune. (8800 GTS 320, XP PRO SP2, E2140, 2 Go)

i like the fact that the music has some random factor in it aswell, but most of the runs look too plain. abit unpolished/unfinished i guess..

Great idea, but the scenes which I got during all my tests didn't looked as promising as the one in the screenshot. Music was always nice, but that's not enough for my thumb up.

I liked this one, thanks for thinking what could be done dynamically!

Sadly black screen only(radeon 9250). But the music plays well.
Thumb up for procedural music.

a bit too much white in many of the runs. cool concept nonetheless.

Nice concept, and it looks fairly nice [most of the time].
rulez added on the 2007-11-04 14:32:46 by micksam7 micksam7
altougn not all incarnations are perfect i like the concept. generative content is still not much explored in the scene... want to see more.

thumbs up for music

nice concept and what ps said
Cool. For a generated demo the geometry should be a little rounder :)
rulez added on the 2007-11-04 17:05:37 by xernobyl xernobyl
i think it bugs on my box, though i'm not sure. even the "one good run" version has mostly plain white in it; a lot of white glow/overlay, completely white cubes floating around, etc. well done though, i guess this is what dynamic demos should be about. not bad on the music composer. i'll thumb when i'm sure i've seen a correctly working version :)

Very cool idea! Sometimes a bit too bright or too dark but otherwise fine. Runs very well under default Wine configuration in Ubuntu GG, too!

Guys I just can't wait for a complete demo in that style. Keep it up ! :)

Added the
Dynamo SemiFinale version

-reduced overall whiteness through different runs (as usual when I'm making something fastly, some things tend to fuck up, so here's some fix)

-added few more prewatched .bat runfiles

-a true final version with a start dialog may be done some day
added on the 2007-11-05 08:30:40 by deepr deepr
The compo runs were a bit dull, but this is still my new favorite dynamic demo!
rulez added on the 2007-11-05 08:55:33 by visy visy
Sadly it's very ugly. :-/ You can do dynamic visuals without it looking crappy, see here for a great example: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=3231 Removing the cubical part from the generation pool (however it should be called) would have helped a lot already.

The most dynamic dynamic demo ever. The music system is totally cool.

No headphones here, so no idea what the sound is like. I'll try again later perhaps with sound. The visuals left me unimpressed though, take a look around on the web at one people are doing with procedural graphics.

Pig for now, the sound will swing it :)

Nothing new and could have been done in way less I'd imagine.
Clicking X only killed the grafics but not the process :(
sucks added on the 2007-11-05 16:34:51 by shock__ shock__
imo it missed the potential in the dynamic demo concept and barely scratched the surface. seemed rather like a 3d fly-by with randomized objects and paths.

Great randomizer, a bit dull demo. Still, thumb up for the randomizer!

The concept itself it amazing to me
rulez added on the 2007-11-05 20:48:47 by merlucin merlucin
Music didn't really give it much of a boost.. as others said, it's more just randomised than generated.

Nice render, but with UPX it's a 96k intro :)
rulez added on the 2007-11-06 19:55:57 by Anat Anat
Great execution for the randomization routine.. I think it'd make a great start for higher-level refinements.

Cool concept. Maybe you could reduce certain parameters (esp. colors) to more useful ranges and better options for syncing (the editing pace could vary).

rulez added on the 2007-11-12 16:16:29 by pixtur pixtur
Wow! I run it again and again and watch many demos, ok it's actually the similar thing but good music atmosphere and the music also varies, very good idea and I really thumb this up!!!

nice execution and concept at the cost of compo pleasing determinism :)

Oh, seems to have buggy behavior on geForce 8000-series gfx cards, the colors are clamped to totally black. Fixing the problem now when I've got some hardware available to test with.
