Seemed very cool, but at 1 frame per second I can't really tell. Also judging by the screenshots the rendering was horribly wrong (only very colorful noise on Radeon R9 270). Need to see video or a fix (assuming sluggishness is a bug) for proper judgement. Music had some great instruments, especially the percussions (albeit a tad thin) and the bell sound! Is this 4klang or clinkster or something completely different?
red blinking screen on Radeon R9 270
rocked the stream, great work! lovely to have TWO 4k intros in the compo :)
ran smoothly on my 660TI, great idea, music is nice, visual are great, too. just one thing: did you exchange reflections and refractions?
Loved the music and the sparkley rainbow theme was interesting!
4fps on R9 390X and the beam was really noisy and overly colorful. Waiting for a fix.
Live the beam was also noisy and colorful - I thought it was intentional :)
Anyway, nice prod! SunSpire, thanks for the link - I enjoyed the demo version and look forward to the full deal.

As others have said, it doesn't seem to run right on AMD. Way more colour and noise than in the screenshots, and it's slow as heck. R9 280x here.
Love the concept though. Looking forward to either a fixed version (even if it doesn't fit in 4k!) or at least a quality video capture.

The music saves it from being just a little too simple and repetitive, very crunchy fuzz that I like though
I like this.
I really liked the music. The visuals are interesting. I am curious if this is some actual simulation of light going on or just an interesting effect.
due to its particularly partically nature this intro is a b*tch to capture without losing half the details to the claws of the encoder but of course I had to try anyway.
there is no way i will let this capture be raped a second time by the YT encoder, so here is the source mp4 (364MB).

it's a nice concept but it gets as boring as a high school physics class quite fast
very nice 4k!
It's worth waiting! A bit too dark overall, but really nice colours here and there.
wow, this is glittery and beautiful! love the scattering
Different and cool!
i listened to the bare music first and was about to thumb up merely for it because it rocks ♪♫ Then (after reading the coments here) i gave the actual demo a try ... and it runs! (on my 8 year old GPU). A bit simple but effective. [/blah] ... thumb!
Yup, my kind of intro:
+ Music is very appropriate, not annoying, serves the purpose more than well
+ Pure technical effects, no designer BS or laughably-pompatic self-promotion
+ Nice visuals, also runs decent for me (five years old GTX 460, i7)
+ Interesting/unusual effects with light dispersion. It is really cool idea to make a small intro about it! I actually suspect how you do it, but would be even nice to read short making-of or something like that.
In fact, I would really like to see more technical demoscene nowadays, so this brings me some hope:) Good job!

ultranice idea and execution!
Beautiful! Very nice idea.
nice effect
Super lovely effect and music.
Should really have ranked on the party. The music is wonderful and it's beautiful how the graphics are evolving. Fizzer, like in your intro "Love Reaction" you break new ground by "telling stories with code". Cool!
+higher =p
Nice.
Would love to read a making-of or post mortem about this.

any chance for a 1080p .exe?
..........
It starts really slow, but cool once it really begins to do things!
It was OK. No YouTube video?
Reminds me of my favourite physics experiments back at school -- optics always had this calm, mesmerizing effect on me; beauty from a few simple laws delivered at low ambient light.
This is a real beauty, and SunSpire's music delivers a fitting soundtrack <3

wow, cool :)
nice concept & tune, visuals suffer from the glitter 'effect' looking way too static
