Solid demo by Focus, they deliver something slightly different, not just an object/scene show, there is something more interesting and different about all their demos. Code and music is excellent but as with anything that Optic is involved with the graphics is the highlight of this demo, brilliant stuff.

Excellent work with those impressive pixelated graphics!
This is a good example of well designed demo. Good music too.
Among the effects, I especially liked that rotozoomed labyrinth with those fake-3D shadows (nice idea) that gives a impression of height somehow.

Very nice demo with great design and very high qualit graphics. The effects are overall pretty nice, the EQ and orange/blue twisters are gorgeus.
But, I really want to like it more, but it feels like it lacks that extra punch to push it to the top. Some parts feels a bit out of date, not bad at all, I just have the feeling that I've seen it many times before.
Nontheless, it's a great demo with lots of quality in it.
And the music, I just love it. I'm gonna keep spamming refresh on esau's soundcloud until it gets uploaded.

Optiiiiiic!! Nice one, well executed by all.. i loved to see some new stuff from Hans - that made my day as I didn't know this was in production..

The music might be a matter of taste, but the sample quality is outstanding and you feel that it is 'unusually cool' so thumb on that one for Esau aswell.

Good demo but I can't see any effects which require 040/060.

I have to whine about AGA=not fullscreen again, since it's a practical choice rather than a necessary one. But I would rewatch for the FSD style, coherently displayed here and the showoff mod with deluxe samples in a mix I can only describe as romantic plus cool. :)

That, and great demo in general!

This feels very experimental, is incredibly well synced and has some really interesting moments.
But all the breaks and discontinuities make it somehwhat uneasy to watch - especially when you expect another "be kool fool".
Probably needs to grow on me...

Another cool demo by FD! Your new "music & graphic duo" (Esau + Optic) brought a fresh breeze into your demos. Good colors / design, great synchro (GNU Rocket?), soundtrack and some interesting effects. Works nice on my 1260.

Hi! Thanks for the nice reception of Aulun Baulund. I really like that you express that it's different, but that you can still see FD in it. The first effect for the demo was written around October last year and during Trsac Esau played the first patterns of the music for me. We slowly(!) began putting the first things together during Christmas. The process has had its ups and downs, but we're happy that we could release it for Gerp - an oldschool party that you should really visit some time! The demo needs 040+ due to the move16 instruction, which I use for fast clearing of the screen. The music is indeed a 4 channel module and everything is coded in assembly. The synchro is....handmade, i.e. I sit and listen to the module in Milkytracker and note down the interesting events (and with Esau's music there are so many!) and then I put entries in the "demosystem"/scripthandler for that particular column/row in the music. Oldfashioned indeed, but I works for me. We'll be back with more AGA 060 stuff in the future - OCS is not for me, and I leave that to the really hardcore bunch.

A really good AGA demo.
Nice mood, great music, and good pixels, which is not so obvious in Aga demos this days. Good design, with tasteful effects, not just relying on massive 3d scenes.

Corial, nice background information... :) In fact, I was wondering how you can manage the whole show staying in sync with the music in all FD prods. Now I know :)

For all guys involved: thanks for this masterpiece!

It felt a little like "Beats" in certain moments.
The ribbon scenes I liked the best ... looked gorgeous.
