This is a great work. I was expecting it to won, or be unless 2nd place.
Realistic modeling of a body is impressive here.

It's really good. I expected it to rank higher in the compo. Not sure at the expense of which one of the other pieces, but still. Feels more like a 1st or 2nd position. Regardless, amazing work.

Looks great, but falls a bit in the uncanny valley I guess.

This is such a beautiful image, the colours, composition, pose, geometry and rendering are all so well executed and nicely balanced.

I know how difficult it is to convincingly render something living, and you've done an amazing job. I would have been happy to be placed below this.

I can't grasp how this can be put together using those ray marching distance field functions. Looks really great!

Really a nice modelling job here. :) polynomials rock and we should use them.

I assume it's multifrequency (perlin or simplex) noise for grass and clouds and hair.
Bull is likely modeled using smoothabs / smoothmin / smoothmax techniques.
Skin texture and varying radius of extremities might be achieved using tangent bundles of the underlying primitives.

=> I did not check the code, I do not know the author, I just described how I wouldl try to achieve this :)

Anyways, this product shows tons of mathematical skills, I'd love to see another one like this!

Really convincing model for a 4kgfx. The bull looks a lot better than the ground though.
