I don't know if the statement is for or against gifs in Speccy. I mean I don't mind, but I miss the old Speccy demos, maybe 2x2 chunky dithered was alright, but my favorite are 1x1 pixel res effects, dots, wireframe, 3d stars, polys, sphere map, I remember some neat pixel res that were smooth. Maybe also multicolor pixel are interesting although too cycle accurate to be easy.
PS. BTW: Was it supposed to be called "gretA" or "greAt" statement? Or is it just a typo (in the NFO file as well)... Anyway, even if there is a typo, the name in the result is original =).
