Awesome and really cool you brought the machines to the party. Had fun playing a few rounds of Arkanoid/cruisin5 ;) Found out I suck though. I’m curious about the specs of this machine.

The discord was predicting Arkanoid before the demo finished, but mostly due to an Arkanoid cabinet being in the party place, apparently. :)

aah, this was so great ... maybe you lot can bring my wet dream and build a machine that never existed with perhaps a chip that never existed for misterfpga ...

Well, just found out that our numbering of the DIP switches is mirrored, i think we inherited it from MiSTer (and maybe MAME). But the ground truth is written in the original manual, of course.
How come I haven't thumbed this yet? Great idea and even better performance at this year's Revision!

A small story.
It reminds me that together with Secret we were working (around 2017) on Taito's "大旋風" (Dai sen puu) ("Twin Hawk" in the rest of the world) arcade shooter. Not the best one developped by Toaplan, but not bad neither.
We - ofcoz - removed the CRC checkings, I retouched the main screen, the 大旋風 logo (started in 2014 I think), many in-game sprites and so on. Secret - on his side - did some wise code-work and included a neafty trainer-intro to it.
Unfortunately, during 2018 I lost contact with Secret (re-contact me dude!!!) and the project was unfortunately put away and not finished.
Maybe one day, cause still some gfx work needs to be done =).
