No, the compo was limited to five teams and "organized" by good ole XXX/Haujobb/DKeV so he got to choose who he contacted for it.

But you can vote and decide which of the teams will be flown to TEH BESTEST PARTY EV4R!!! (*cough*) and get a few midrange Asus notebooks for the hard work :)

A few ppl are currently conspiring to get the stuff uploaded to the usual places (incl here), so you won't have to stand this pityful excuse for numedia webspackerei much longer, promised. :)

The 'trailers' are not a shorter version of a longer demo. THis is it. 30 seconds only. So don't get your hopes too high. :-)

by the way, heh, we forgot to include the dlls (d3dx_30 etc) with ours, which we'll rectify in the shortly available final.

LOLSCENEISBREAD
regarding the music, it was pre-made by DJ Hell (5 short tracks). Groups were to select one, with permission to remix it if they so wish.

Even though Intel didn't _pay_ anything, you have to admit that the thing payed off better than an average democompo (especially ASM'06, since the prizes still haven't been delivered)

OMG.. the originals should be all gathered and locked inside a safe box, and then fired out of a cannon into the sun.

it was very kind of them to organize this and make this offer.

tempting thought though...

That only makes us want to hear the originals more.

Preacher: trust me. you don't.

preacher: hell yeah.

i thought all of the music sounded pretty damn good, but if all of the tracks were "reworked" by the respective groups musician, then it's understandable. :) funny how heavily "dj hell" is used in the marketing of the thing though.. i wonder if he will ever know how you guys _really_ felt about his "unique tracks". :)
