If TBL wrote a capturing program didn't the voters vote for a non-realtime version of the demo?

don't know about other parties, but on BP we show amiga entries on amiga...

That confusion may stem out of the fact that people constantly have to wait for binaries.

It wouldn't hurt if the trend to delay the party version release would be dropped anyway.

the version shown at the party should be released right at the party. final versions can be then released when ever the group is done with it.

that's basically what I feel should be the case, yeah

Shifter: Does this mean I no longer will have to chase mnemonix in the future? ;-)

nosfe, i'm with you on that issue :-)

gimme the party-version after you released your stuff at the party.. unless you don't want to give the binaries, simply don't release it!

sparcus: in the case of Transformer, you might as well give up ;)

nosfe/shifter: yeah, that was the plan... unfortunately, things got quite hectic in the real wild compo because of the high number of entries, and when you're working hard to get everything recorded in time it's easy to forget checking whether there are proper binaries for everything in the system.

so yeah, we're very aware of the problem and will do our best to improve that for next year :)

btw scamp, it's quite hard to drop you a line on irc when you've been idle for 18 hours :)

No it's not, you do what you do with me (:

Eventually we see it and ask (:

ryg: Youve shown all TBL AMIIIIIGAAAA releases on Amiga at Breakpoint? Did you tell TBL about this?
added on the 2007-04-15 18:57:55 by Hatikvah Hatikvah
we showed ocean machine (last demo to be recorded) from UAE at bp05 after our compo amiga died for good and we didn't have time to find a replacement anymore (the compo was delayed already). and i claim it was the most reasonable thing to do at that point.

all other amiga compos on that BP and all amiga compos on other BPs were recorded on real amigas.

and now have fun trolling somewhere else.
