b) Ich schreibe aktiv für dieses Newsportal seit Sommer 2006. Von seit Jahren aufmöbeln kann also keine Rede sein.
c) Mich verurteilen ohne meine Seite gehört zu haben ist natürlich sehr einfach, wird aber letztendlich nicht den Tatsachen gerecht.
d) Eine einzige E-Mail, ein Anruf oder ähnliches hätte ausgereicht und der Name Breakpoint wäre nie wieder in den Gulli News aufgetaucht. Diese Benachrichtigung hat es bis vor ein paar Tagen nicht gegeben.
c) Die Trägergesellschaft von Gulli hat Simon aka Scamp angeboten auf die Rechtsanwaltskanzlei einzuwirken, die euch da Probleme bereitet hat. Und dieses Angebot ist absolut ernst gemeint.
Ich glaube nicht, dass sich die Herren dort in München wirklich auf meine News von Gulli.com bezogen haben. Zumal ich in meinen Artikeln immer wieder EXPLIZIT darauf hingewiesen habe, dass Demoszene und Warez NICHTS gemein haben und solche Leute, die zum Leechen kommen wollen, sich die Anfahrt sparen mögen. Von daher verstehe ich deinen Angriff wirklich nicht.

Vergiss es, wir reden hier von Scamp, Leute als Idioten und Arschlöcher zu bezeichnen gehört bei ihm anscheinend zum Alltag. Würde gerne mal wissen ob er mit seinen Kunden genauso umgeht.

Nun, egal ob ihm nun schnell die Hutschnur platzt oder nicht, ihn zu beleidigen bringt aber letztendlich auch nichts. Auf eine freie Meinungsfreiheit und Pressefreiheit zu pochen und sich deswegen nicht unterkriegen zu lassen ist eine Sache. Sich auf ein solches Niveau freiwillig zu begeben eine andere.
Wenn er nun den Betreibern des Newsportals eine Abmahnung androht und mir ein Hausverbot erteilt - so werde ich sicherlich nicht mit Beschimpfungen reagieren.

FYI: The average party organiser would rather chew his own arm off than to be represented by anyone so clearly involved in piracy. This is not an offer, this is an insult...
so, allen ist jetzt klar: rules lesen, nicht unbedingt was ueber breakpoint auf gulli.com oder t50.com oder sonstwo schreiben, sich nicht gegenseitig sinnlos ankacken, nicht einfach oeffentlich draufloshauen, wortwahl beachten, freundlich sein.

Here's a final message for ghandy/fzool/aeg/those who criticize my communication style:
Organizing Breakpoint costs me about 3 months of work. Due to that, I'm now 3 months behind my work schedule. It's perfectly ok to invest that time for the scene and people I love. However, it's not ok for me that I have to invest lots of time AFTER the party just because of a small number of trouble-making individuals. And my responses become harsh as soon as I notice that people who obviously screwed up are unable to simply apologize/undo the harm and move on, but instead waste my time by covering up etc.
And in the current cases:
- Fzool has cheated in front of the public. The prizegiving has been public, the missing prize has been taken from the public, the wrong resultsfile was public, one of the persons involved posted to the public about it (Sonic on CSDB). So what is the fuss of me DISSING you in public? Screw up in the public, get dissed in the public.
- Ghandy has written an article about Breakpoint that implied Breakpoint would be a warez trading place by putting Warez-Ads into the very text of that article (now removed from the site). This has caused a stupid law agency to cause A LOT of trouble to Breakpoint by telling the criminal police and the city officials that Breakpoint isn't really about art, but about warez. I had to call our lawyer, flame the to criminal police to get a fucking clue about what we really are, and visit the local police, and talk to the city council to tell them that that law agency is full of shit. All this has been due to an article written in public, the harm done to us has been in public. So what's the fuss of me DISSING gulli/ghandy for this in public?

If *I* some day screw up like you, cheat in compos, harm Breakpoint, go ahead and grill me in flames in front of the public. But until then, let's remember that YOU are the ones who caused trouble, and it's ME trying to do great justice(TM) to protect Breakpoint, it's reputation and people who try to compete fairly in our competitions.
And yeah, I'm harsh sometimes, especially when under pressure. So what? Don't screw up, then you don't have to deal with my flames but are able to ignore me, while I silently try to make things nice for you in the background.
It's not my job to be the nicest person in the world, it's not my job to always be calm, it's not my job to make sure that even the last guy in the scene loves me. My job is to help make Breakpoint the best possible demoscene party for the scene, and that's it. Your job is to make sure my work isn't jeopardized, to make sure you don't cause additional trouble, and to make sure you don't harm Breakpoint for the others. Ideally it's also your job to support Breakpoint in some form or another.
I succeeded at doing my job, you failed at doing your job. Therefore you guys are not in the position to complain.
And now I'm getting back to MY job ;)

And to give a status update:
The problem with Gulli/Ghandy has been solved, we've come to an agreement how to make sure something like this doesn't happen again in the future. There won't be Breakpoint bans for Gulli staff anymore.
Also, the sending from AEG has arrived, so we now got back the compo prize and will forward it to the real #3 winner. Thanks AEG for being the only one in your camp to do something to finally resolve this, appreciated.
Net result: Competition ban for FZool and Sonic (but not AEG) for 3 years for cheating in the compo, and no party bans at all left. That's quite a fair and happy end.
