that last one was joke: well.. computer musicians? do analog synthesizers count as computers? i could say for example: drexciya, anthony rother, jeff mills, jackal and hyde, le syndicat electronique, venetian snares, squarepusher, boards of canada, underground resistance, dynamix ii, autechre and pan sonic.. but i have only listened just little of this "computer music" ;)

nowadays I don't care but in the old days then we (me and breakin) were listening to mod and xm all nights long the ones I liked best was lizardking and merlin... and bliss, but he's in our own group so that's kinda like selfvoting innit :) .. I also liked purple moton and lately I liked little bitchard and also the music in traction demos.

really tuff for me to say just one name. as on sidchip, there are some serious muso's.. demo or game wise..

cross format.. martin galway and tim follin for work they did on zx spectrum + c64

maniacs of noise JT is always the obvious one
vibrants.. jch etc.. also did nice music
sean connolly

theres LOADS i would say =/

someone mentioned about d&b.. i was very impressed with this c64 demo tune >

(note to "so called" producers - demo scene music is not for blatent stealing, perhaps crediting it / clearing it would be the better option)

many of the old mod/xm wizzards =) hello chromag, weasel, wotw, 4mat, etc...

and the big one also known as chris huelsbeck... turrican 2 was my all time fav.
I'll stick to tracker musicians here: dune for his "how the fuck does that fit in [insert small amount here]kb?!" tracks, dreamer for the visual madness in protracker and dizzy for being awesome.

Tim Follin, because of the melodies in Ghouls and Ghosts. The best of progressive rock compressed down to 3 channels of square waves! Also what he did on the spectrum was way ahead of his time.
