currently:
korg 03r/w
e-mu orbit v2
roland alphajuno1
casio pt30

lent off to friends for years and havent had them back for ages:
korg electribe er-1
korg electribe ea-1
novation remote25SL
casio cz1000

lent to me by mates:
roland alphajuno2
casio cz5000
korg 03r/w (yep, a second one)

i bought nitro/trauma's korg x3 but sold it to go to canada for half a year. i miss it to bits. and keep thinking that a korg karma would be wicked to have. that, and MFB synth lite II which has such a lush lush sound. and a keyboard version of the novation bass-station.
not into vst "emulations"

i don't agree they're shit.
those tannoy reveals suit perfectly my needs.

after all, the choice of monitor speakers is very subjective.

(and maybe it's tells something about my hearing ;-)

scoutsky try dynaudios or genelecs..
i had genelec 1030s and i entered into an .. interesting rent deal where i have tannoy reveals and an amp, and my mate has the genelec 1030s.
all i can say is: tannoys are fucking, absolute, utter, shit.
well, compared to genelec 1030s :)
no clarity, and no punch. they arent even bearable as movie watching speakers or for listening to cds with. very depressing. total let down.

but err dont let that affect your enjoyment of them:D

Hey, since we are on the subject. I thought about getting my first MIDI keyboard...not sure what would be good for the price though. :/ any ideas?

it's interesting - are genelecs cheaper in finland than worldwide?
they are good, but imo slightly overpriced even comparing to nowaday's dynaudios/adams etc.

scoutski: do you really need so many keyboards ? :p

(ok, rock stars use one different guitar per song, but heh...)

Zest, each keyboards it's own sound, it's own synthesis, it's own grain... and don't say guitars too, it's definitly not the same thing.
Zest: indeed, what kaneel said.

Some synths are excellent for creating basslines but shit at doing strings and pads and vice versa.
