How to find all demos which have been ripped to video?

category: general [glöplog]
Thanks for the H.264/AAC ones :)

you're welcome.

And because I love you all so much, there's 3 new ASD captures in H.264/AAC and 800x600 resolution waiting for you:

NEW: ASD - Planet risk
NEW: ASD - Iconoclast
NEW: ASD - Animal attraction

...if you don't mind the huge downloads, that is. ;)

No Xvid captures this time, because people probably can't even play the Xvids on low-spec machines...

Download them at wurstcaptures

just as a sidenote: I have some DOSBox vsync issues atm, so I'm not doing DOSBox captures till I have that resolved. Not so easy, really. Don't have much time either :(

still the xvids can be played on your huge-size television with most low-budget dvd-players - which, in my opinion, is the idea of taking videos in the first place...

Or ... you put a second desktop on the video output of your GFX card and connect it to your TV. Then play the videos fullscreen on it.

The music might be ripped, but this really rocks. Example for good use of video in a demo.

A question for you guys.
Theres a video for Statix & Vic - Bleam on this page.

Quality is so-so and I don't think it is error free. Take a look at two scenes:
BB Image

Bleam is using Glide, so you either need a 3dfx card (haha) or need to use some emulation (OpenGLide v009rc7). Some mipmap-mapping switch in the INI made the ugly greenish bars at the right go away, but I don't know about the left picture... I don't think those bars should be there. Does anybody still remember what it was supposed to look like?

I'd love to make a better capture, but I can't use the video-dump feature of the demo, 'cause it it's giving me some DirectSound error. kkapture isn't working with it and fraps gives a very low framerate...

Any ideas guys?
