ps: we didn't even officially state the first one yet.
axel: the t-shirts were printed by topy, it's got nothing to do with us, no idea if he'll come this year.

Is it possible to move the Friday 22h deadlines later (especially the executable 4K gfx, in my case)? I'm not sure if we'll arrive in time at the partyplace (long travel times, possibility of traffic jams...). The compos are all at least 16 hours later, and it would also be nice to be able to finish the production during friday night if necessary.

seven: maybe by an hour or two, not much more. the deadlines are that early because we actually start preparing these compos on friday night - saturday and sunday are way too cramped for the compo teams already.

if you really can't make it in time, just come to the compo team as soon as you arrive, we won't reject an entry because you got stuck in traffic.

in other news: concerts page added! ps: the second "band" is reyn ouwehand.

Can someone answer my earlier question about microwaves?
that was? (didn't find the post)

i guess he means this one

Quote:
what are the rules about bringing pressure cookers, deep fat fryers, sandwich toasters etc?

which is partly answered at the party website rules page:

Quote:
Keep your kitchen equipment, heaters and cheap extensions sockets at home. We do our best to keep a solid power supply, but this kind of devices often trigger the ground fault protection, possibly leaving several rows without power. That protection is there for your own safety, and also required by German law. We won't refund half-written CD-Rs after a power failure. You're not allowed to use extension sockets that don't conform with the VDE norms (meaning they are either defect or don't have earth contact).

but i guess he needs a confirmation since it's slightly different or something..

axel: Yeah, Topy will be back with his t-shirt stand (keep in mind that he uses a vector plotter). And yup, I'm busy at CeBIT.
