Yeah, well, in my day we didn't have BONFIRES, we had gravel roads and you had to get up and move whenever the horses came by with the new visitors, but we were GRATEFUL we had the gravel roads!

pete - thanks! In return you can borrow some of my 40 liters of deep fry oil I will be heating constantly throughout the party. Anything tastes good after a quick fry, and the oil virtually never needs changing: sausage, waffles, squid, even bread and milk! yes, milk. Deepfried. So come over to Hyde's Hangout (or "The Hyde-out" as I call it) for some deep fry goodies at reasonable prices served in generous portions.

Still waiting for that OK to come from the organizers aaany moment now.

deep-fried fat. i'm not sure whether this is genius, madness, or the end of western civilization. or all three at once.

Quote:
2 sticks butter

Salt and pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Peanut oil, for frying

That can only be AMERICAN. Only 99% fat!
