"how i make chiptunes" youtube video
Link please :D
I make chiptunes in a much better way:

  • get a bunch of chip samples
  • make a random playlist
  • record it!
  • layer it
  • band pass it
  • release it

The qualitylevel of the avg chipmusic made by other american chipartists (all on gameboy apperantly) is so friggin low

I disagree. Maybe if you just mean gameboy chipmusicians, excluding a few... Or maybe I just listen to the good ones :|

I don't mean it's that higher than "friggin low" but it's not that bad.

Virt is American indeed, and beats the shit out of most European chip musicians.

Someone should tell these people, who seem to have made a documentary, featuring Laromlab: http://solipsisticnation.com/?p=55

gloom, i already did, and the guy is perfectly up to date about whats going on. he offered to have someone in the scene (and i proposed that to be one of the ripped artists) to be interviewed for an episode due late april. which i why i've asked crazyq or dubmood should get in touch with him.

But some kind soul got it first.
Be amazed at:

- How the Atari ST is older than the Atari 2600
- How an Electribe ER-1 is capable of sampling when it's not a sampler, be a MIDI controller when it is not one, and magically send this magic MIDI data without MIDI cables
- The power of "shmexing" tracks

---> http://www.mediafire.com/?mog0jhzmmg3

I thought I heard that track somewhere though, how strange. Someone must have copied Laromlab.

It's a 4k brain. As you know it's really amazing to see all the things you can do with a 4k brain like:

- Chuck Norris
- Supporting Debris
- Not Supporting Lifeforce
- Stealing some random chiptunes

:D

Well, it is. In the same way that any device with MIDI out can be a MIDI controller.

With the cables unplugged too, right? ;D
What about the marvelous contgrol he gains over goattarcker and those other trackers he magically synchronize at the same time?

I thought the music was coming out of the Winamp he opens before firing that up, but I guess I am wrong!

No Akira, you're actualy right.
The tune he's playing is an Atari ST tune by LotekStyle, so it's definitly no GoatTracker/C64/SID tune. :)

Phony to the max.
