Depressed rambling of a poor single core CPU :(

category: general [glöplog]

Hi, I am a single core cpu. :(
I have no one to play with. :(
I work alone managing to cope with the information coming from the front side bus. :(
The GPU is just an acquaintance and often betrays me with cubes. :(
I thought that my 64 bits instruction capabilities would make me horny, but I'm running on a 32 bits system. :(
I lack SSE3 so nobody wants to be my friend. :(
I feel lonely and depressed. :(

Pentium M 745 talking here. I feel your pain. :(
All those young, fresh quadcore chips with their fast FSB and enormous amounts of cache.They make me wanna cry :(

@MOS 6510:
Ever gave suicide a serious thought? Like burning up whenever tries to use you?

Oh you single core chips think you have it hard!

What about those damn overclockers?!

Make us do twice as much work since we "can". We're tired! They keep increasing the FSB till we drop dead! I can never talk to my second core buddy as he's working just as hard as me! And do you know how HOT it gets in here? Expecially when they think they can just slap a "quiet" heatsink on with half the efficency, it's horrible! And sure, a little extra voltage is always nice, but have you heard how many chips have DIED from overvoltage?! It's like standing over a cliff balencing on the edge!

God! Well, at least we dual-cores have each other, I do feel sorry for you single cores.
