I want to work in videogames so now I am working for my portfolio. The most obvious scene thing is the music I hear all the time while working. First the podcasts, now I am a heavy Nectarine listener.

I thought jeenio was "back" too.

Well yeah. I'm browsing pouet quite often @ work. And due to my scene-coding I'm the only one at the company (well It's quite small one) that can code C++ very well. And also I find my job quite boring because it's not graphics related. :(

I get depressed every time I realize that I shout "scheisse" or something equivalent.

I noticed there were normal people with normal lives listenning to mainstream music and they got no clue about demoscene and to them it's okay but they don't really care about it... and don't even see the end in making such productions (+ the usual "why making it for free?)
kinda stupid of them to ask "why in the end make demos" if they then ask "why make it for free"

Tracking tunes at work, watching demos, listening to scenemusic radios, browsing Pouet/Bitfellas/Nectarine, chatting @ irc, sometimes doing more work at Bitfellas than at here real workplace (i'm lazy everywhere ;))...

Now.. What was i supposed to do anyway today.. Oh yeah, doing an inventory, nearly forgot!

Same here. I miss that bearded nutcase!
But yeah, to get to the point of this thread:

Right now, I'm supposed to do a test specification of some really important (to the client - not to me) feature that needs to be finished yesterday.

And then I find myself typing this.

Got it?
Nutman^IRIS: that's just endless procrastination that has more to do with being a human than being involved in the scene. Oh yeah, I'm in the same situation at the moment... :D
