saint, hyperventilation, grudge, LOBSTERTAINMENT2, your scientists invented electricity.
In the show yet: Broadband/T-Rex, Shad/Cocoon & Syndrome, Saint/Halcyon + DaJormas

High Priority: Machines of Madness/Dubius, Nature v2.0/Three Pixels, Hyperventilation/Byterapers, Robotnik/Rage PC

Normal Priority: Gerbera/Moppi Productions, 73ms/Pulse, Elektroniks/Doomsday, Square/Pulse, KKowboy/Purple & Blasphemy, Squeezed/Nomad & Bomb

diver: De Profundis is in no way fun to watch on a pIII-450. Luxo is nice, but G-Cube was much more inventive.

bigcheese: Yes, there is a problem with GUS PnP and Stickman's World

NO SATORI STUFF BECAUSE THEY WILL BE FEATURED IN SOME OTHER WAY! And remember that there are only 60 minutes for the whole show this year (yes, it's short!)

60 minutes to play demos for a party as big as mekka is ridiculous. you should have atleast 2 hours on 4 diferent occasions.
anyways, dont forget deesbab, hplus and gamma2.
angeldust2 would be nice to see on bigscreen aswell..
and saint ofcourse ;)

ps: I had about 110 minutes last year and the show (demos were chosed after some chat on #coders with tmk, sulphy, rawhed and nix) was quite cool. Of course I can present again my own selection (that's the way I have done it at dialogos, evoke or underground conference). And of course the most named demos here were already running in one of my previous shows. But now it's public voting and I will finally choose the demos and intros for that the people are asking the most + some rare stuff like 'Broadband'.
Yes, 60 minutes are not very much, but the party program seems to be very packed this year (several new events). So the only alternative is a second more 'private' show with a smaller big screen in some corner of the party hall ;-)

I will arrange the demos normally in the order from oldest to newest (but all DOS demos first). I will change the order when needed for a better flow of the show (=the less reboots as possible). I think I'll not be killed by the orgas when the show runs 65 minutes, but in general we stick to the '60 minutes rule'

Hmm...didn't you have your show on saturday last year!?
I thought I'd remember that! So is the friday evening slot absolutely fix already!?

Damn..would be a REAL pitty if I could'nt enjoy SHAD 1 on a big screen again..after that long time I saw it last (at a big screen! ;-) )

Damn...shit, shit, shit...please...try to get it placed on saturday evening!! ;-DD arghhhhhl!!!

Weasel: It was imo on Friday last year and it's the orgas decision. And I think on Saturday evening/night the first compos are starting on the big screen...

evolver / jeskola!
stuff / xtacy

play those, or I will hunt you down for your kidneys, Crest ;)

shifter: hr hr ;), but 'Stuff' is indeed very nice. Actually I will put it on the 'High Priority' list. The sound in 'Evolver' is kinda original, but the demo itself is just good average imo.

payda: We can talk about this at the party, no problem. But actually I'm focussing on the 'main show' and besides this I have also plans for a partyradio during the whole party :-)

did i mention i'd like to see saint?
shut up, ile! :) saint is saved already...

te2rb on would be nice to include. i guess i haven't seen it on big screen since tg98 democompo.

i also second with fred: one hour demoshow is ok but in two hours you could fit much broader list of demos and if it's good demos nobody's bored to see demos two hours in a row anyways.

The timetable for this years MS is *FULL*.

We may have 4 days, but even those are quite full with events - mind, we have lots of compos with MANY entries. And generally, we try not to have stuff in the dead of night - we plan so that people can see everything without cutting their regular sleeping times by half.

Yep, 60 mins for a demoshow is not much, but it is enough to show some decent demos.

Ryg, so you can guarantee me that there will be something on the bigscreen/stage at ALL times next mekka?

If for 1 second i see nothing happening then i shall kick your ass :)
Crest, you must show Triton - Crystal Dream II (winner from tcc93 if I remember correctly), it's one of the best demos ever imho. And also, Acme - 303 is a classic.

Yeah, try to do as much as possible on the bigscreen.. I've been to many parties that are saying "No, we don't have time for anything else" and still the bigscreen doesn't show anything for 90% of the time..

I think demos (including old ones) should be played much at parties, it's a cool idea =) It's always a good thing to make the scene remember the past...
