What was the best zine/mag article?

category: general [glöplog]

I'd like to know your thoughts on what the best mag/zine article were in regards to what was ever written and what zine/mag articles you'd like to read. Since my last conversation with ps I've come to realize my zine isn't reaching most of you. Do you want more tutorials or entertainment?
you have a zine?

I'd recommend loading Winuae and reading some of the older Amiga magazines, esp. RAW, ROM and Seenpoint.

Like newspapers, all good scene mags comprise scandals, backbiting, controversy and outright lies. The more names you drop and the more sceners you can take down, the better!

The great thing about writing for the scene is you have total freedom of speech and don't have to worry about legal backlash. Make the most of it. ;)

hei, bears are always a hit..
they can say they love you..
they can get you drunk..
what could possibly go wrong with bears?...

unless they are bear ducks i cant see how they can ever go wrong..

More articles written by wellknown and active sceners. Lack of these is IMHO why modern diskmagazines and ezines are still not able to compete with older diskmags like for example Imphobia.

SceneZine mostly reviews things. There are too few articles with news or information on how to make things. The articles that you do publish seem too short. For example, the "Hello World" program in DevC++ didn't contain enough information to be really useful to anybody.

The best article was Chirs's explanation of how we did the music for the Etherium. You need more information-packed articles like that.
