Brokepoint - Breakpoint 2009 is in danger and needs YOUR support

category: general [glöplog]
stefan: I never said it wasn't (well, except it's not _personal_ PR campaigns... cause, well, they are promoting parties and not people). I just don't think your doomsday prophecies are very realistic.

does mat/ozone have to pay supporter ticket to get free entry to small parties?

If you keep the "brokepoint" has the party theme you can have the "party theme decoration" for free ;)

So if the progress bar is full, then everything is paid for the party.

That means the Entrance will be FREE!

HOORAY!

The "Jeroen Tel vs. C-Men" event thing at TUM was pretty nice.
I bet alot of sceners who wasnt present at TUM woulld appreciate it.

AFAIK JT makes a living out of these gigs and takes money, quite lots of.

Oh and the hotel thing, does that also count us arriving on Thursday?

You are free to arrive at Thursday at the Hotel, and the hotel reservation system will work for booking that. Just just may not come to the party place before Friday 12:00.

And people, don't get too excited about the speed of the donations/supporter tickets coming in. Yes, it's impressing that we got several K within less than 24 hrs, and a great warm feeling to see this huge amount of support. But it has already slowed down a lot, and there still is quite some way to go for a bunch of party features that I'd prefer not to miss.

Sooo.. go on! Donate! Find sponsors! Do things!

Thanks!

To all who have ordered supporter tickets and wrote me mails about sponsoring etc: There is a whole lot of mails to work through, sorry if it takes 2-3 days until you get a reply (or invoice).

how may people do you REALLY think will use 250 euros to get a "free" ticket for a small party?

Considering how Plek paid an obscene amount of money for a free tent and all-access-where-is-my-beer-you-wench privilege at a party happening in your own damn country, I say you need to consider your statement.

You're welcome.

Plek is still not "many", he's probably the exception.

Shifter: DOH! - I didn't realise untill now that I did a typo there... "may" should of course be "MANY" - hopefully that makes my babbeling more understandable.

I know that some people are willing to pay "too much" for stuff - that's unbelievable cool - but not that many does so ;)

Plek is right about the band thing though, that should be a fun privilege, not a must-have. I'd gladly spin some music on my laptop for free (or a beer or 2) for yalls. (i;m not very good, but spin good music :))

Oh, and 303f stopped playing at demoparties after some bad experiences, but I could ask them.

Plek is legion as far as you and I are concerned, and you appear to be under the persuasion that I considered Breakpoint and that other party alike.

STFU, you norwegian ;)

Still soccer turnaments at stupid danes present!

ok can I ask a question:

there is "fund scene.org" page, with the gold silver etc. level funding, where you can also put your company logo on the site for something like 3 years. Is the breakpoint funding and this combined ? or are they separate things ?
added on the 2009-02-02 23:18:46 by Navis Navis
And if you get the bp sponsor ticket, you even get in at solskogen for free \o/
added on the 2009-02-02 23:19:44 by leijaa leijaa
navis: they are separate
added on the 2009-02-02 23:20:14 by leijaa leijaa
navis: i think that fund is purely to keep scene.org in the air and buy new hard drives :)

Depends, Nvscene associates tend to chum and quite frankly I can do without them.

Okkie: Nah, we still have plenty of Pixar-money for harddrives. :)

Shifter: I have yet to understand exactly what it is that I have done to make you so blatantly angry at me.. As far as I can remember, the last time we met we went out for beers and had a good time in Amsterdam.. but that's probably a subject for another time and place I guess.

not trying to win popularity contests is one thing, taking that principle to another level however... oh well.

Shifter, gloom, you're both quite cretinous annoying individuals so you probably don't get on because you're too alike.

i can do a live-set for free! :D

and, to get some more financial support for breakpoint, i can _NOT_ do a live set if people donate 500euros combined saying "i dont want nosfe to play"
pay or your ears suffer!
