Budweiser is a cool beer... the czech one: http://www.budvar.cz :)

unfortunately, it seems that all good beers are made in the Czech Republic. or in Slovakia. or in England. or... :)

now i think i'm going to open a Pilsner Urquell :)

sir RICHARD kbab is right: let's all ask xxx and drink Kölsch at Breakpoint.
Cologne Scene world domination! :)

Oh and, for the record:
Being german doesn't help with drinking Bitburger.
That stuff tastes equally poor whoever drinks it.

I'd just like to state that budwieser is indeed a perfectly acceptable beer. The only thing tarnishing its reputation is that cheap watered down dog-piss copy thats made in america.

If a lot of people want foreign beers they can't get, why not bring your own and swap it at the party?

psonice: you know the equalence between budwieser and having sex in a kanoo?

It's fucking close to water.

From the BP04 website: "As said, Breakpoint again is sceners only..." Does this mean that people interested in the scene, enjoying demos and other scene-related stuff but who don't create anything for the scene are not welcomed?

hehe, i drank bud in the UK, but the brits tend to drink their beer the most horrible way of all! stale as fuck! and the bars close at 23 too, that's insane! the one good thing was that a pint costed no more than 2 quid or something, which is quite cheap for a pint of beer :)

anyway, i'll bring some dutch kanon!

OdS, indeed. we don't want your kind at our party. sod off, organise a demoshow or something.

haha.. the scene is actually a very elite group of young men (and alas, some women) who like to come and show off at breakpoint, if you are not creative (or a woman) go away!!! i second sir richard, organise a demoshow and gasp at our eliteness!!!
added on the 2004-02-12 13:50:11 by okkie okkie
Mmh well, it's all clear to me now: I'll never reach your Highness and thus have nothing to do in this life anymore ;-)

Yeah, organizing could be something pretty cool to do... (uh well, organizing might no be so cool actually, but the result sure could be!)

you could try to reach our higness, but you would have to complete all tasks the 'manual of elite demoscene' holds. You wouldn't make it! you would give up crying like a little baby!

I want the whole world to put itself at my knees! I want to be an übermensch! I want to become a real scener! Please show me the way and a link to The Manual!

Gargaj: Well, coming from you, theses are certainly excellent advices, which you obviously put into practice! My only real problem with programmation is... I hate that! But of course, coding non-sense Java classes because-this-is-part-of-what-one-has-to-know-when-passing-exams and coding for a demo are certainly things that differ greatly!

coding demos are fun. try it :)

I see on the site map on the breakpoint site theres a "tentfire" planned next to the meadow. Just please make sure there are no poles in the tent before burning it ;)
added on the 2004-02-12 15:33:11 by psonice psonice
i thought that poles in the campfire was a returning tradition of BP?
sir richard, unfortunately i can't bring you any 'velkopopovicy kozel' since i don't live in the Czech Republic...
here there're only crap beers :(
(which we drink in quite large amounts anyway :)
added on the 2004-02-12 20:39:24 by blala blala
was wondering about the 'tentfire' too =)
added on the 2004-02-18 12:42:17 by dalezr dalezr
