Idea: Make demos for promoting dystopian values

category: general [glöplog]

The upcoming European Parliament elections have brought me to the idea: Dystopias suffer from the image of being governed by cold, rational ideologies. That image should be changed. Dystopian visions should have a positive, emotional image. To achieve this, we need talented artists who would be ready to create visually appealing animations and demos that convey dystopian values, such as "freedom", "democracy", "peace", "liberty", "progress" and so on.

What do you think about this? Would you be interested in creating something like this?
Go make a demo about it.

viznut: weren't most of your previous demos the promotion of dystopian values ?

however sorry i must warn of the usage of the word dystopia.
Quote:

dystopia (plural dystopias)
A vision of a future that is a corrupted (usually beyond recognition) utopian society
State in which the condition of life is extremely bad as from deprivation or oppression or terror
(medicine) Anatomical tissue that is not found in its usual place.
The patient suffers from adrenal dystopia.

so a dystopia is pretty much an utopia gone wrong. that can't be positive. what you really want is to promote the utopia that usually turns bad.
