There was another thread on opensource, very polarized opinions whether opensource is good ot bad for demoscene.

the demoscene's about progression and showing off stuff. and showing off is done by doing that extra good stuff.

war drives techonology, not womens knitting clubs.
war is propietary, opensource is knitting clubs.

Even if you find a better forum for asking coding questions, DON'T paste your entire source to ask for a specific detail on one call (I hope you didn't just rip pieces from a tutorial btw).

Although this is correct, don't lose your your sense of proportions here. First of all, you need a good coder to implement such things, and secondly you need more time to implement such routines. And if you're limited by memory bandwith, you shouldn't expect much from changing your routines to ASM.

Yeah, we'll leave that upto you retard.

Go write another cracktro in 800k with only 16k of code music and gfx. Before you go insulting someone else's ability to code, try knowing how to yourself 1st.

putting random data (or better, g4ypr0n) to make your prod bigger is the real ART!!!

(besidesl, using lame compilers to achieve this si teh sux...)

Intrinsic is correct, I went too far with my hint on ripping. I apologize the original poster.

But boy, guess I need to stop coding for fun if the price of not putting 100% to prods not attending compos is being a retard.
