pommak: 92" screen, do they exist?
32bit windows sucks, why cripple the 4GB. Found that out the hard way.

Oh, my Laptop:
Core 2 Duo T7250 2,00GHz (lowly 800mhz bus)
GeForce 8600M GT
4GB
320GB 7,200 rpm HDD
Windows 7 64 bit
Based on what's been written so far, I don't really think it's a problem to start using a gazillion polys and/or mega-complex pixelshaders in your next demo guys. :)

Sinclair ZX81
1 KB RAM
I've also got a 16 KB expansion cartridge but I'm not going to use it.

Also, I happen to own a ZX81 clone called "Basic 2000" with a different operating system and 2 KB of RAM.

The latest desktop multimedia wankery compy:

Risc PC 600
StrongARM 200 MHz
128MB RAM
1M VRAM
1.7G HD
Mozart sound cart
RISC OS 3.70 with LongNames extension
Network card

Did have a Compaq R3000:
Celeron 2,8GHz (bus was horribly slow.)
768MB
ATI Radeon Mobility 9000
Did have a 60GB HDD but installed a 100GB HDD into it
No built in Wifi or Bluetooth
Think I also blew the serial port.

But managed to sell if for 300 squid. It still runs that i'm aware of, got it back in 2004 and kept it well maintained, (cleaned out about twice a year.)

I love taking things apart. ;)

Hm, after watching Frameranger chugging along in 800x600 on my PC I think somebody already started doing just that :-)

Anyway, can't really complain; my budget PC is still doing fine with most demos...

Dell Dimension DXP061
Dualcore 6600 @ 2,4 Ghz
2 GB RAM
XP SP3
320 Gb HDD
GeForce 8600GTS (updating the drivers recently worked wonders on the performance of most recent demos/intros)

@ 8-bit buggery

Yeah me too! Like the cube in the beginning of farbrausch debris!

Used to work on my uncle's 2.9MHz Pentium 3 PC if I am not mistaken.

And we tore it apart during an overclocking procedure! 8-)

Debris JUST about managed to run on the old Compaq, just didn't cut the mustard any more. ;)
