I think it's mostly the bright colors and the pace of it. Feels as if it's something that is made today as oppose to say 1998 which is how most kids-shows feel they have been made to me. That and I have a little bit of a crush on stephine but I think a lot of people do. The whole human-puppet interaction I find a little disturbing however. Perhaps kids today don't have a problem with this, but from my perspective it's still a little weird.
