I´m lying in my couch right now, using the rest of the battery on the laptop (yeah, my adapter was fried too ;) )

I want to give ALL of you who helped at TRSAC my sincere thanks for making this possible. I have not met this much positive attitude and willingness to help out with preperations, lending us gear, gear and manual work at TRSAC itself.

THANK YOU - you rock and are awesome all of you!

All thanks to the massive attendance support - I never thought that we would be so many people at TRSAC this year, but it totally ruled!!!

Now I´ll probably fall asleep to the smell of dried in beer and old sweat :)

I hope to see all of you next year again - and bring more entries then!

as normal some people get too drunk and almost destroy the fun for a few people, but this time I don't think anything serious happened, but I went to bed early tho.

puryx, you did a great job organizing, always with a smile on your face and I will sure come back next year if you decide to...

the showers were a good plan, but the water was freezing cold when I decided to have a shower around 9.30 sunday morning....

the food was really good and I especially enjoyed the breakfasts.. the dinner isn't really neccessary since the cafeteria offers good food and a trip to the town would have been perfectly alright..

the compos wasn't dissapointing from my point of view but concidering the guys who were there (decipher, mentor, blueberry to name a few) one could expected more in the 4k :)

thanks to all you scandinavian friends for being so damn nice! cya next year.

thec: I think we're going to do a little "post-mortem" in the next week or so, to try and figure out where we can improve stuff - so thanks for the input, let's have some more of that!

In general I think it all went rather smoothly - barring the obvious, horrenduous power failure on friday night, which was tracked down to a fault in the partyplace's equipment. We have allied ourselves with the TMD guys to get a resident electrician attached to the party (who lives very close, since the one we used this year lives about an hour's drive away).

I read on the TRSAC.dk tagwall that there are mixed feelings about the amount of music being played - personally I think it's fantastic that there is a lot of liveacts/DJ'ing going on, and to me it's actually a big part of what I like about trsac. What's your take on this, do you think that people generally find it too noisy at trsac? Obviously it's always going to be noisy when nic0 is there, but we are working on fixing this ;)

farfar: noisy? I think Cheesy's act was amazing. I have never danced like that in a good while and boy did it help me refresh my entire happy-being. That said, I am very sorry for not being able to release anything and I promise I will make up for it next year.

oh and amazing party Puryx! please make more and more of this, the food ticket was an amazing idea and an equally good investment. the party place was okay and coming from Finland I think the shower-water was of the perfect heat.

also next year, I want my damn midnight snacks! :D

farfar: I didn't mind the music so much as the café area was a real nice place to chill if you wanted to socialize.... tho I found the partyplace a bit dark at times and that bothered me more than the music actually....

are you working on making me LESS noisy? I was about to say that "age will fix that" but it seems im getting more and more noisy as the years go by and no kids and houses have materialized :)

that said, I do hope I didn't annoy anyone more than usually :)

ah and the discussion of the jew-sauna and saint vader (even if i forgot the relation), was some of my personal highlights.

my low is eh... i don't think there was any, even if i can relate to the dark part - perhaps some ambient light-stuff for when its night?

Decipher: I think the noise level was good as well :) I did enjoy friday's DJ'ing as well, but I was mostly looking forward to Cheesy's drum'n'bass set, since I am a dnb whore :)
About the midnight snacks, we had a loose semi-committal from my gf + booster's gf that they were going to bake rolls so we could have had those - but as is the way of things, Linda had to work, and my gf's granddad was moving house that weekend, which meant that she was down helping him all day friday to sunday. I think it's awesome that you wanted to sponsor the midnight snacks, next year that'll happen for sure. I think :) It ruled at Outline!

We probably should have given out the free beers earlier in the evening, maybe say at the beginning of the compos. We didn't, because it was an arrangement with the partyplace cafe - I reckon we'll see if we can change that for next time.

thec: I didn't actually hang out in the cafe that much, so I didn't notice the lack of lighting myself - we could try and put some candlelight out there to mellow things up a bit next year. I don't think the hall administrator would mind, he was very forthcoming in general.

Regarding the run - I thought it was really awesome, and enjoyed it a lot! Thanks to Kalms, Mickey, Ransom and Cheesy for participating. I've been told that more people wanted to come, but were put off by the 10km distance - next year there'll be a 5-6 km route as well (I didn't get much response on the "Run" section on trsac.dk, so I assumed that interest was limited).

nic0: you annoyed me just the right amount, right into the chairs and onto the floor - thanks! ^_^

I think thec means that the partyhall was very dark, not the cafeteria :) The cafeteria was very well lit.
added on the 2009-10-18 23:24:08 by nic0 nic0
yes, the partyhall
added on the 2009-10-18 23:29:18 by thec thec
ah, yes of course =)
It's true, it was very black/white wasn't it.. either total, neon-slaughterhouse illumination, or rather dark. It just seems like that's how demoparties usually are.. dark halls, illuminated with rows of monitors =) That said, I wouldn't mind some nice ambient light sources here and there, and we did actually talk about getting some (just some cheap rice-paper IKEA type things), but in the end opted out of it.
Maybe next year!
