QUINTIX: i fully agree on buckley not having a sense for comic timing at all - but that was besides the point :)

<@cgk> i know why there are no viruses. It's hard to convince your users to spent hours searching for and installing library dependencies just so your virus works.

Same here, using Windows XP without any antivirus or firewall, and never had any problems. I though viruses were something of the past...

I wonder if only those installing antivirus soft do actually get viruses... like viruses came with the instalation package so you feel you spent your money wisely. Hm.. I probably shouldn't press "submit" now.

Well i was also a bit too overconfident in myself like that, until someone said me "oh there's a virus on your usb key it seems!".
After i installed avast on my machine i had indeed a good 15 infected files from a couple of viruses. no problems since then..
But anyway for personal use avast and AVG free edition are well, free. So why not having an antivirus like everyone..

Agree with nystep.

Common knowledge and functionable minds sometimes are not enough....

....against these kind of threats.

unfortunately I do not want to be troll like Maali. So i will keep my mouth shut about GNU/Linux and instead make some demos for it. I am really surprised about the quality of posts here, and I wanted some people to start using GNU/Linux :( but instead i was called bastard, said i need to shove up the linux from my ass, i need to get lost :(
So that's it my friends.

PANTS OFF!
