I signed up but not in Berlin, in Ankara/Turkey. I also released a game last year at GGJ 2009. Here it is: Lost Colors

I won't apply for the Berlin edition, but I'll probably participate in the Dutch edition like I did last year. We made this fun (and crappy) little game.

I'm surprised the Berlin edition is limited to 20 people. Last year at the Dutch edition we had 21 teams of around 6 people each.

Sinar: unfortunately I can't play your game, but from reading about the concept and seeing the screen, I don't think it's crappy. It surely sounds like a cool concept to me. So, is it badly executed or is your comment just understatement ;) ?

Well the thing is, you'll never have time to properly finish your game. Our game didn't even have a way to shut it down ;-). But I guess "crappy" is a bit of an understatement, "unfinished" would be more accurate.

Anyways I had a lot of fun that time, though I had only a couple of hours sleep for the entire weekend.

I thought so...

Yeah, guess it will be no sleep & muchmuchmuch work, but also a lot of fun. It's always surprising how much one can accomplish in a crunch :)

maw: So how was your Game Jam?

We made this little gem. It's sort of a shmup but very simple. Gotta love the sound & music though :P
