Das sah ich auch, aber manchmal gibt es ja "Sonderkarten". ;)
Here is the English version:

Demos represent one of the most colourful facets of digital culture. On the surface they resemble experimental video art and innovative music videos. However this comparison is misleading. While films as a rule can only play back their images or frames, demos are computer programmes that generate these images for the exact moment – in real-time.

the chairs were horrible, the projector had a broken pixel, but the presentation was good. thx a lot.
The presentation was ok, even though the introductionary speech was a bit confused. I think the line-up was quite good, even though it was missing an Amiga demo. :) I had no clue about the group "Reflex" but they seem to be a nice bunch. Thanks for a good evening.

@Madenmann, I didn't know you are in Dresden, I remember you from partys quite some time ago (Evoke 20054/5) and I should have recognized you...where did you sit?

The 22nd Filmfest Dresden ended several weeks ago, time for a little review. To cut a long story short, the festival was great: Interesting short movies, interesting film maker and much more girls than at an average demo party ... :-)

The screening on Thu. 2010-04-22 8.00 pm was nearly sold out.
The screening on Fri. 2010-04-23 3.00 pm was quite empty, an early afternoon at a working day is just not the optimal screening time.
Both screenings were presented by Ingo Lindemann. The audience - among them many film makers - was impressed and very curious, no wonder they pestered us with questions. The feedback about the "Demoscene" was very postive.
So I think, it was worth all the efforts and it would be great if I had the chance to make a second edition.

The only downside was the fact that except the Reflex (and Siesta) members no other involved sceners could make it to the screening in person. On the other hand it felt a little like a class reunion this way ... :-)

I would like to thank all involved sceners very much for the great demos and the support.
This programm would not have been possible without you.

All the best ...
