conspiracy theories, yeah!

now stfu!
but Rob, it's true!!

The bloody wankers never even went to the moon either!! They staged it in Nevada!! And Nick Berg is beheaded by US soldiers to have something against the torture pictures of (my sweethear and eternal love) Lynndie England and her drinking buddy Chuckie Graner.. and we all know that Bush is actually from another planet, he's from the species Moronicus Retardicus that will, eventually, rule the world and turn us back into monkeys!!

stfu yourself Rob! it's not about theories, it's about opening your eyes. Where is that fuicking Bin Laden? Oh, he's being cured of some liver problems in a US army clinic somewhere in the deserts. Where are the fucking atomic weapons? Definately not in Iraq. The terrorists? They are all from Saudi Arabia and other countries, Saddam never tolerated outlaws. And for the last almost 20 years, Iraq was quite an OKish place to live. Repressions were over, the state was neutral towards religion. Criminals were in prison. Now they're out. Courts were reasonably fair - at last not worse than in the former Soviet Union where i spent most of my life. However, this was a very poor country - millions of people died in the last decade due to economical sanctions from the UN.

What was that fucking war for? To destroy the best order in the neighbourhood? To let the terorrists rule the streets as they now do? Fuck you Rob. Why exactly Iraq? Do you think you know what situation there is in the neighbouring countries? Most of them even don't have decent law! People have no rights, so no right get "hurt".

President election in Futurama? There was a president election in the Simpsons, where both candidates turned out to be alien siblings. :)

On the one hand Bush is a totally stupid moron, and on the other hand he's behind all kinds of complex conspiracies.
added on the 2004-06-04 11:52:34 by cruzer cruzer
no, bush is just a moron. the illuminati and freemasons are behind the conspiracies!

Yeah good point, if he is the guy with the most power and 2359875 atom boms, why the heck would he do everything via ultra complex conspiracies anyway?
Okkie. i love you! your words are so subtle that everyone understands what he likes to.

Rob: perhaps because he is a sort-of democratically chosen president, and needs to justify himself in front of the ones who chose him, to be choosen again. well, he's a moron, but the whole thing is not about him - if you look at the history, morons without will get usually pushed through if someone else has to take real control. so, e.g. Yeltsin and many others. man, his brain is damaged by 20 years of alcohol and drugs! things they've put through during his legislature were neither possible with his father nor with Clinton.

eye/PAC: Take occum's razor to your conspiracies.
US fighter jets are ready to be anywhere the Army orders. I'm quite sure the Army could not get involved that quickly, especially with the Pentagon under attack. And I'm sure every country in the world has a backup plan for war with all of its enemies in many scenerios, IF NEEDED. That's where our tax dollars go. Not to killing our own people.
And try to understand. The American people were basically given a choice between Bush and Al Gore. Either way we were screwed. Before you condemn all American's, remember that not everybody voted for Bush (or Gore). But our people have been brainwashed to believe they have only two choices when selecting a leader, and are then presented the same package with two different wrappings.
Oh, and Germany, "the country you *chose* to live in" prefers to capitulate to terrorists rather than fight them (see Black September, but I suppose that is a conspiracy created by the Illuminati and Freemason's, eh?) So don't tell me anywhere or anyone is perfect. People are people.

More vocal, or more widely showcased. Most are rather ignorant and lack the skill to argue their case beyond waving a flag -because their government tells them dissent is unamerican.

And you bet you should question that president. Allowing for the gross misuse of the term "at war" the apologists make, who intiated this "war" with sovereign countries (while pointing at the actions of a *international* terrorist network) again? The only reason there's "war" to begin with is because the US government started one.

tck42: i'm definately not going to condemn americans as a whole, there should finally be some limits to the actions of politicians, especially if most of the nation is against them, whatever their initial choice was. apparently, there aren't. and if i was brainwashed (in part i sure am), that would not be my fault either. and well, Bush was chosen in part by his luck, in part by some other circumstances, but mostly due to people's greediness - a prevailing property of people both there and here. and this property makes me worry of Germany's future in the next years. it might become a worse place than we know now. well, and it wasn't always good either.

i happen to live in Munich right near the Olympia Park. i see the memorial to Israeli swimmers regularly. being of a jewish origin myself, it really touches me. i'm not sure i have any clear opinion to that. clearly, the olympic games were not prepared accordingly, but that's only what we know afterwards. with US, i'm afraid it's a bit different. and dare you to put tax money in relation to a few hundred lives, ie counting only the aeroplanes and not the buildings? doing something gets a better chance of saving people than just ignoring everything. during the cold war time, this would all be different. and speaking of taxes, what is the most growing part of US state expense last 2 years? does it come in any relation?

BTW, the word "war" is unappropriate towards something that happened in Iraq. it was a one-sided punishing attack, with Iraq having no chance from the beginning on! if someone calls that "war", then... i don't know. i could rob your house and when i'm being asked why i could say "we're at war". really nice!

I'm proud of living in Denmark, where a majority of the population supports the liberation of Iraq and Afghanistan.

haha, you're amusing cruzer. 'Liberation' hehe.. yeah.. the people in iraq and afghanistan never have been happier

The Danish apparantly believe that anarchy and liberation are the same thing...

Yeah, liberation. Sure everything isn't perfect now, but it sure is a lot better than under the Taliban and Saddam regimes. The number of refugees from these two countries to Europe is going down, and I take that as an indication that things are improving.

So that's your set of crayons!

Of course it's going down. It's hard to leave for sunny denmark when you're being bombed the bejeebus out of and labeled as collateral damage.

the war in iraq is a war about money, not about liberating people.
