There was also some BBS intro with a flying 3D floppy, but I don't have a clue about it. Maybe someone remembers? A 3D floppy in space, ran on VGA on a 286..

I just know that I had a CD or whatever it was with loads of programming stuff on it and it contained quite some demoscene stuff.
first real demos I watched where toasted and machines of madness (yes, I'm "young" ;-))

A lot of C64 cracktros, but wasn't really interested in the scene that time :)
As I remember, the very first PC prod I saw was Ein.Schlag by Farbrausch.

late 80s: C64 Cracktros! I liked the flashing colors, raster bars, sinus scrollers, fonts and listened closely to the music. I remember Beastie Boys, Dynamic Duo but there where much more I can`t recall...

early 90s: Budbrain Megademo was my first demo on Amiga.

mid 90s: Second Reality on PC

1998: Soundtrack for this demo released at Mekka 1998 was my first own contribution to the demoscene:

I think it might've been the Wild Copper demo - I remember it was fun that they could do rap with the built-in voice synth :-)
