It's not that I'm ashamed of using XP...

just dont use ANY other Win and you´ll be fine ! ;p
without meaning to be overtly suspicious about archives stored on filesharing sites, what exactly is this? :)

Nah... Tried bootskin once on XP... PC kept restarting after the boot screen, a bit crappy for my taste.

You should be ashamed of running XP! It's a really old OS! Get with the times hombre!

I'm with XP aswell, closing to 3 years without a reinstall. Avast+Spybot are my friends. I think I'll stick with it until I get a new pc.

getting that XP-install back after installing Win7 was a major_pain_in_the_old_ass !
just dont forget about the hidden partition and copy all your xp-boot-files over there ;) also add some line to inform your bootloader about that xp-insta !
well, i WOULD delete Win7 if i wouldnt know i would have even more "fun" reinventing XP on that hd afterwards !
most-annoying: having no sounddriver that lets me use Headphones under Win7 ! ( altho its the same installer and such as under XP ! strange shit -> m$ )
Coming from RiscOS, WinXP was the only micro$oft OS i could bear (and i wanted to watch dvds and have a bit more power, else i would have kept RiscOS). Vista is a shit with rare bugs (file with negative size, alphabetical sort of filesize ie 11 000<12, useless toolbars, ...) and 7 looks like vista and has memory/power hungry features i dislike. I really miss my 2mb rom RiscOS! RIP. :(

So i also stick with XP, though i'll try linux soon...

I use power saving mode on XP. boot time = 2 seconds :)

Yeah, the kit car version.

Still on xp here.. although that's totally down to it running 95% of the time in a VM with limited memory. Otherwise I'd move to win7.

I would still be on XP, but i bought a new laptop which came with 7, and 7 runs nicely on it, and I like it, so no need to downgrade.

Oswald - I use hibernate, which takes about 5 seconds to restore.
I'd still be using win98 if it didn't need a reboot every couple of hours...
