wrong platforms

category: general [glöplog]

Please be careful when entering prods.. I just noticed that kenet entered a bunch of Haujobb Amiga AGA demos as Amiga ECS, and d-lee entered a bunch of PC demos as Amiga AGA! It gets annoying when you're searching prods by platform.

Can't wait till that correction feature comes along. :)

I think analogue should add a small cgi to send him messages about errors pertaining to one demo! (dunno a 'bug' button or something like that)

the party rank/release date are hard ones to get right.. I cant even remember where/when we released our own demos.

the fact that you can't enter just a year (without a month to accompany it) doesn't make it any easier. and should that feature appear in the future, it'll be nice guessing which prods marked "january" are actually released in january.

Yay, a necropost in a thread I started 25 years ago! And not so embarrassing this time. I'm curious if this is an AI bot gone amok or perhaps a certain banned party organizing scene contrarian having a manic episode?

You are a bot or an idiot because of continous entering posts and replying on everything possible. As written in the online. Seems you are the same guy as we had months ago here. So i hope and Admin will show up and end your one man show very soon because you are not willing ( human ) or not possible ( stupid human coded a bot to piss pouet users )

The =Raspberry+Pi]Raspberry Pi platform is a bit silly in my opinion. There are like a dozen different Raspberry Pis with differenct capabilities ranging from microcontrollers to quad-core Vulkan-capable Linux desktop machines with gigabytes of memory. And people approach the hardware in different ways as well. Some build their own LED displays via GPIO, some boot their own kernel and interface with the firmware using bare metal ARM code, and some (like me) just ship a bog-standard aarch64-linux-gnu binary and treat the platform like an ultra low-end Linux desktop.

I suggest that this should be split into something more generic but meaningful like "Microcontroller", "Bare Metal SBC" and "Low-End Desktop", forgoing the Raspberry Pi name.

Oh this thread is ancient, sorry, I don't post here often. I meant to link to https://www.pouet.net/prodlist.php?platform[]=Raspberry+Pi but oops'd the bbcode.
