When people talk about 256 bytes and logos, I can't help but think of this thread.

compo!!!! on a site))
I'd say you'd be better off taking the site offline, fixing everything, and then relaunching it. Right now it's a horrid mess.

@A. Barker
I understand that you have a dump of the old site at your hands and are trying to bring it back to life.
My advice would be to recreate the site from scratch and just use the old database and file archives, looking at the web archives the old layout wasnt really shiny anyway (and what gloom said).

well, guys... it's not an easy to recover incomplete database, believe me. maybe site ai'nt looks like 256b.com, sorry, i can't rebuld a whole copy. guess, better is to begin complete screenshots, intro data, youtube links. fuck the design.
wysiwtf: I sent A.Barker the archive of 256b.com ( SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, files, ... ) a while ago hoping he would make good use of it. He did create 256bytes.net from scratch using the old database and file archives. However, I think the 256b.com from 2004+ does a better job so far.

A.Barker: The "demo" table and the files were complete. You don't the oneliner, comments, news, links, .... all this extra fluff is junk. Focus on the intros.

hosting for .net

".net" is a domain. If you paid for some kind of all-in-one package that has webspace and a domain one package, well, that was a sad choice.
Saga Musix, i've w/a couple of fuckups of undergrund.net, so.. donotwant to begun deal w/it..guess, my hoster works good.
