category: offtopic [glöplog]
Hey everybody I am here at the Hospital. Have been here for like two and a half weeks. Call me at +1-612.273.6764. Ask for Thea. Mental problems and it's boring here

sigflup: hope you get well!

in not so serious, pouet meme, harmlessly intended pun related biz: i also hope a certain random swede isn't already buying teddy bears and vodka bottles in a ferryboat.

Not much I can do from here sigflup but if you need a sketchpad and pencils I could see what I can do. Hope things improve quickly.

didn't know that your name is Thea :) That's a beautiful, quite uncommon name - my wife's named Ann-Thea :)

What v3nom said, I had a foster-great-aunt called Thea, she was the nicest of them all. Wish you all the best!

Can't you get some webgl powered netbook or smartphone and mess around with shadertoy/glsl sandbox? That's what I'd do if I was that much time alone and bored in a foreign place.

awwwww, here is a heart :)
I like how for Bittin girls only exist to be 'girlfriends' and there is no other reason to talk to a girl then to make her your 'girlfriend'.

Good luck Sigflup! Hopefully thing will get better and less boring!

Get well soonish
Sigflup - from someone who has been thru "The Mental Health Grinder" a couple of points.
I've had pretty much every anti-depressant there is (I call it the Psychiatrist's Hamster Wheel - as in "try this one, if it doesn't work. Try this 1 instead").
I've been meds free for a couple of years now, I decided that I'd rather be crazy but still compus mentis than suffer all the fucked up side-effects. Mind you it took me 6 mths. to carefully wean myself (with my GP's help) off them. Don't get me wrong tho - the amount of booze I drink is the worst part of me "self-medicating".
I've been in a Mental Health Ward. The biggest things I learnt were - if you don't feel comfortable or agree with what they are saying, don't just rely on your Dr./Psychologist/Psychiatrist to be implicitly correct. Get a second opinion - even if you've been "sectioned" you have the right to ask for that.
Apart from that - relax, chill out. It took me a couple of times before I realised that it wasn't some "big conspiracy" and they weren't going to "lock me away" & just stop to smell the daisies. That struggling against the regimen of the place I was at caused me a lot of grief, a lot of which I could've avoided if I'd just seen it as a welcome break and chillaxed & read a couple of good books instead.
Either way I hope you're safe & secure and will remain so.
