I climb, but not on a very regular basis. Like it a lot , even though I'm afraid of heights :)

Read the book - it's much more interesting.

Still haven't watched that movie...

When it comes to climbing pr0n I like "The sharp end" and "On sight" a lot. "Return 2 sender" is quite funny. "L'Étranger" is a free movie about bouldering in (Font)ainebleau, maybe the most awesome bouldering place on earth.

Get psyched... ;)

I climbed for a month, in a rockgym, with a discount code, on lead. Got tons of bruises and abrasions. Had lots of fun. Afraid of heights, by the way. ( : Very expensive; had to quit. Loved it though. Would like to again someday.
"The real climbing is outside" ;). Cheaper too.

I do rock climb, but I'm not a scener, just a scene enthusiast.
I use to climb 100km far from my home town, in the southern part of the Alps - north Italy. The hardest cliam I ever tried was the spigolo Vallepiana of Casati tower, a 180 meters long way link in italian
If you can climb on Evoke I guess I have to come :)

@sasq: If I'm there, I'll volunteer as a rope partner. I'm also thinking about going... :)

@0thehero: Alpine climbing is a completely different thing. Falling is not a good idea there, you have to know how to use and trust your trad gear and weather is a big issue. Very rewarding though with long routes, many pitches and great views from above...

I do lots of bouldering and sportsclimbing here. This is the Lower Saxony region of Germany and there's lots of hidden boulders in the woods (lots of them we discovered and were the first people to ever climb), good sportsclimbing here and some trad climbing in the Harz mountains. And a really nice climbing "scene" with funny and friendly people. Me likes it here. :)

I do climb, but I'm not a scener, just a demoscene-loving "groupie" ;D

Germany: climbing hall in Darmstadt or Outdoor climbing in Schriesheim (near Mannheim) and Heubach (Gross Umstadt)

If you german climbers don't know where to go next weekend: We're throwing a party with a fun boulder-competition on the 10th. All info here. I offer every demoscener who shows up a free cocktail. Ask around for "Kim".

I will bring my shoes to Revision this year and probably try to scramble up any stray boulders I see, so now you know - in case you want to join or guide me to some real crag or gym in the vicinity :)
