that sounds like a clerical error. Just blame me. We started to count up the votes once, then realized directions weren't clear enough (again, improvement next year, haven't had this problem before) and people had voted two different ways. It was fun, let me tell you. : D

Next year . . . with Partymeister! (And for that matter, Recursion).

sorry, we're all human, and when a small crew is spread thin and exhausted, stuff happens.

This is why every year, we look at our mistakes and improve one way or another.

I already have larger crews together for next year's @party and November's Montreal party, Recursion, than I have ever had for these events, and am stressing the importance of having Partymeister set up beforehand for both to avoid these kinds of problems and delays in future.

no prob, i know what it's like organizing. just disapointed with the outcome of 3 weeks work.

Had another event last Sunday which pretty much wiped me out, and Récursion is imminent.

But most importantly for our international visitors, the TSA shouldn't be getting any worse, and certain substances are now legal as prescription medicines in our fair state of Massachusetts.

@party 2013, June 14-16, will be happening in room 155 of the Stata Center (32 Vassar Street, Cambridge, MA, http://whereis.mit.edu/?go=32) at MIT.

ponders, is this in any way associated with MIT apart from borrowing the location :)?

nic0: we are hosted by the MIT Game Lab. That said, I'm happy to give anyone a tour around campus if there aren't too many anyones.

Sigflup: As noted on the website, there are hotels nearby, and the space will be closing from 12am-10am (we had a 24h space last year, but nobody stayed up, and even back at Friendly Crossways only a handful of folks did).

nic0: clarification -- it is a program of Boston Cyberarts, and not associated with MIT, but the MIT Game Lab are sponsoring us for access to the space, assisting us with promotions, and sponsoring some of our on campus promotional expenses.

metoikos: just asking since I am trying to stuff as much relevant travel activity into my phd plan, and anything that makes "going to usa" sound more relevant has a higher chance of losening the string purses of the powers that be :)
