Dude, the french border is literally 5km from Saarbrucken! Shit should be able to get sorted!
It's still another country - you don't just take the same orga team and arrange something of this size in another country. Even if it's only 5km away from the current location :)
Let's just do the TRSAC Revision 5km run to the French border and have our music compos there!

well - the only "real" problem would be all the equipment :)
I know some people who have quite big soundsystems (in the ten+ kilowatt range). Maybe I could ask one of my fellow groupmates to bring a *cough* private soundsytem *cough* that just happens to take over a significant part of the main hall. And by pure coincidence it is synced to the bigscreen as well! What are the odds?
Also, it would require DUB to do only half the intake of alcohol :)

The french border is actually 2.2 km away from the party place. How many kilowatts does that translate into?
It would probably make for an interesting experience for the organizers to try to sync the visuals and the sound since it would take about 6,5 seconds for the sound to reach the partyplace :D
