Thanks for the very awesome party!

It was easier to reach then I thought (after navigating within CDG). This was one of the friendliest, and kindest parties I ever witnessed, everybody went miles. Thanks a lot or the free beer, free nonBooze, the cool talks outside, the quick coding session and having some of the chilliest music to wake up to <3

I'm sure to visit the party next year as well, mercie beaucoup et salut!<3

Sounds like a party I would have absolutely loved, especially waking up to chillout. I can try to attend next year, but how tolerant of a non-french-speaking american would the surrounding area be? (Or the party itself?)

As I seem to have been the only visitor from a neighbour country this year, and I've written the above - go figure :D

trixter: I might be there at some moment next year, if you're really in need of fluent english speaker.
By the way it's Paris, people are far from being intolerant to non french speakers
What kaneel said, even the ones who don't speak english will try their best to help you. Asked some heavy armed policemen for the entrance to the M5 line, and one even came after me telling me my ticket is really valid for RER and the Metro.
Also coming from the CDG dirction is extremely easy, you change trains twice and end up maybe 500m from the place.

CDG -> Shuttle to RER start (All trains drive to Paris) -> get out at Gare du Nord -> Change to Metro Line5 (Direction Place d'Italie) -> get out at Bastille -> walk -> tadaa.wav :D
All for 9.80€ instead of 40 to 50€ for a cab.

Your directions both simultaneously terrify and comfort me. :-) I will give it some thought, thanks!

You can't get lost. CDG + Metropolitan signs font is made by Frutiger.
But you want to get lost and speak with some gorgeous french girls, just to make sure - you know :)

I thought about going there, but then there was rewired ;o)

Maybe next year, Paris is easy to reach via TGV from southern germany

Despite being a short visit, it was nice to attend DemoJS.

Wish I could stay a bit longer and talk with more people, but wifey and my daughter were going errand in Paris without speaking much French or knowing much the city :p They loved the Jardin des Plantes with its zoo and carousel :) which was 10-15mins walk from DemoJS.

Is there a capture of the talks and compos available somewhere ?
