Well, current site was ok for 90s.This one is div, css and catchy.Continue the good work :)
Major leap forward, nice to see the feedback is regarded. Still no validation though.

What's really left are some rather mediocre box model issues (side navigation) and a couple of things in html that really ought to be dealt with using css imho.

For no particular reason the special edition page changes some size-values compared to other pages.

Adok: At the download page I've seen most issues have a "name", should I add that name to the "hugi <number>"-naming at pouet?
yeah adok, meet the web standards, that would be something..
that would mean that it looks right also in future browsers and such..

btw: in firefox the points of themenu on the right side are too wide so that it "overlaps the border".. I hope you know what I mean

MadenMann: Feel free to do so, maybe it will make it easier for some people to find the issue they desire (that's the reason why the subtitles have been added - some of them only after the release of the issue, by the way). But the list at the Hugi download page is not complete; all subtitles are listed in hugi29.txt included inside hugi29.zip. Thank you!

phred: I've also noticed that (in an older version of Mozilla) and I'm quite optimistic that this will be fixed soon.

Adok: that's just the rotten, non-compliant IE box model fucking it up for every browser except IE/Win. This wonderful screw-up has been biting web standards in the ass since IE4.

And <font> tags make your penis shrivel (even more).

tiamid: Russian in latin letters is pretty ugly. Even more if you consider there is no real conversion, russian words in english speaking countries are often writen other than f.e. in Germany. Some years ago there were differences in western and eastern Germany, too.
kyrillisch sieht auch fairdammt gefairlich aus.

adok: shifter ist completely right..
You shouldn't do the site for IE and do some hacks for Firefox, you should do the reverse one. Take any browser except IE and you get some standard-complient website. IE falls out of the box. You know.. microsoft think they are the standard because they have the most spread browser in the world.
It is good that IE7 will be out just with next longhorn (in 3 years or so?). Until then, about everyone has switched to firefox or opera or konqueror or whatever.. aaah.. the future is bright!

And, your target audience, (people with a technological clue, sceners or not) will have switched already.

Also, there is no IE for osX any longer, nor will there be again...
madennman: yes, you right. but this site dosn't support cyrillics...

test: вот такая вот хуйня!

There is no standard for html.

regarding the new hugi site:

- write valid html & css
- consider linking to an external stylesheet
- get rid of the imagemap on the top (could be done with some img's on a background image, for example)
- don't use <b>'s where you should be using header tags
- don't use <font>
- don't (over)use <br>
- since you're using css anyway, move stuff like align="justify" and border="0" to the stylesheet from the html
- hire a gfx artist, the main bg image is amusing
- let the artist take care of the typography as well

but hey, at least you've got a favicon! :)

phred: well, you *can* beat IE6 into the proper box model, and with certain precautions you can even do without it. I wouldn't know why anyobdy would like to jump those hoops for fun though -IE is only useful for quickly getting a better browser ;)

and skrebbel needs to learn proper xhtml ;)
