TP1300 location is now added to the website. Cheers!
8 km outside Aalborg, Denmarks party city no.1. Aalborg airport is 10km from the party place and expressway E45 goes, almost to the door.

See you at TP : D

lolkatz: any answers to the questions posted by dfox?

Of course he has none of those - that would require this to be not-fake and the strategy of just giving one non-answer to a list of 8 questions says all that needs to be said about the seriousness of this "event".

He's busy digging a hole for the foundations of the party place, so he has no time to answer!

I get a different map result which also shows up as 926 Gistrup, Denmark. "Hålsvej 8, 9260 Aalborg, Denmark" vs "9260 Gistrup, Denmark". both show as the same area.

Fjellerad hall, which has 9260 Gistrup in its address, can be rented out. Their calendar of events does not have this event listed, but it does show an opening from Dec 26-29. Here's an image of the building from the hall website:

I suppose someone who speaks the native language can contact the hall owners to verify. They're on facebook too.

I really wanted to go to the tp1300, but I think I'll go to tibbleparty#2 instead.

Well, location has now changed to the very "specific" "Location: Aalborg, Denmark"

Personally I'd like to make a clear distance to TP1300 at this point.
I've had direct contact with the guy behind this site, which did also not result in further information than you see on the site or posted here.

I hope I will be proven wrong, but at the moment, without any information, my gutfeeling decides.

The webpage of the hall Luis posted lists "TP1300" for 26, 27, 28, 29th december.

Just saying. I don't really give many fucks since I am not going to any parties between christmas and new year for the foreseeable future.

I am sceptical here - I called the guy at the hall that Luis lists (using my real name and all and stating why I was calling, too old for cloak- and dagger shit here), and he said that the hall was indeed booked on the dates mentioned.

I am still reserving my uttermost caution here, and I would not in a million years preorder a ticket - the run-ups with the dodgy websites, the unclear, owners (still no names on the website, although I now have confirmation of the name of the guy behind the site) are just too shady, and having "booked" a hall proves absolutely nothing. I book tons of stuff all the time.

Lets recap: Not giving out your name, running a website with no specific information, having a paypal linked to a website that sells cam-sex. If this is not a scam, it is the most atrocious example of advertising your demoparty I have ever seen since the real The Party advertised extra prizes for the counterstrike compo winners.

The competitions seems to come straight from 1996 as well.

I don't know what's worse, if someone legitimately thought this is a plausible way to scam people, or if someone legitimately thought this is a plausible way to organize a party.

I wouldn't mind competitions from 1996.

Preacher: Tracked music is still around, pixel graphics are still around, the only thing I can think of that kinda got deprecated is raytrace/3D.

lol, who signed me up as maali/rebels? :))
Sure. I was referring more to the heyday of the mid-Nineties scene than any particular compo though. Maybe I was a bit obtuse.

I wonder, if this is indeed real, how they expect to fill out the hall with two months to go and zero early warning.

Booked or paid for? Not the same thing.
