@nic0
I also stayed Crystal Hotel. I got free wifi account after check-in. But I didn't used it.
So Crystal Hotel gives you wifi account but it doesn't work?

Quality of breakfast is almost proportional to price.
I stayed Hotel La Residence in 2011. The hotel was expensive but breakfast was very nice.
And they serve breakfast until 11:00 while most of other hotel serve until 10:00.
I will try other hotel in this year.

I'm looking forward to Stealth Ranger2 :)

The Ibis hotel, where my wife and I, along with CiH and a fair few other sceners was also a good one as well, very much recommended. It's a bit cheaper than La Residence and also possibly Crystal Hotel too, along with free reliable wifi for as many devices as you need ;)

The main issue which some sceners may have with the Ibis is in terms of location; it's a little over a mile away from the E-Werk. However, even though a walk is required between the Ibis and the partyplace this is perfectly safe in the daytime and also pleasant too, just ensure you cross the river into the centre of town (where the Mercure hotel is) and follow the pleasant river path down towards the shopping area containing the E-Werk building.

The very useful shuttle buses in the early hours, particularly for 2013's Revision, went down very well enabling us to avoid a late night walk back to the centre of town in the small hours. I do hope this service can be made available again even if it means paying a little more for Revision tickets if possible.

Also, even though we probably don't get such as good a deal compared to the hotel prices that Revision orgas get when they launch the website, I find Booking.com to be helpful here. With them, at least, it is possible to book rooms and pay when we get there or on checkout. No money needs to be put upfront with the vast majority of the deals and this helps to plan for budgeting at a personal level at least.

Ibis hotel = rox. Learn to appreciate Revision more by crawling there and back.

Get one of these so you not only look weird but if you pass out while standing up you don't hurt yourself. ;)
Ladies and Gentlesceners, the waffle has arrived.

The wifi at crystal "works" as in "it would work if we only had our regular three visitors, so it doesnt work now since we now have about 20". The joys of using Belkin routers from 1998 :)
