anyway: sound-/noise-/protracker did not kill the amiga music scene, ahx did not kill the chip-music scene, mp3 did not kill demo music,... just the normal progress of things. conservatism sucks. no one needs more sceners wasting their time on doing things already done (does not relate to softsynths only btw).
