pouet 2.0 bugs me beautifull

category: general [glöplog]
"for the attitude of Gargaj, z00m, Faktor6 internet is over." - well yeah, complain to them. Pouet cannot do anything against hotlinking protections. However, you can simply hit enter in the address bar to reload the page without a referrer so it will download correctly.
A minor feature request: A way to properly delete nfo files, so that we don't have to replace wrongfully added ones with made-up dummies. Would be neat. :)

Ah somehow I thought it is some "error" at pouet :) I know how to get it but it was kinda confusing ^^
Sometimes, looking at the address bar does help. ;)
;)
On that note can we have whatever incarnation of 256b.com is online administrated by someone who's not an apparent hooting lunatic?

can we have a "residue" flag that would hide a prod as soon as a xxx (to be defined) users have voted a prod adds more noise than signal to the pouet db?

in my radar, the horde of "joke" prods that happen every now and then

what do you think? good / bad idea?
That's what we have thumbs and popularity for.

on the note, is there a way to remove a prod I added to a list? I can't seem to find it and I assume people on the fix me beautiful thread didn't as well.

there was a need to filter the bbs topics

I feel the same need to filter the last released prods, which is currently crowed by "call now" gems
in the same vein, it would be nice to have an RSS feed that waits for a while before listing last released prods. only prods with a good enough (to be defined) thumb up / thumb down ratio would appear there

what do you think?

There's no parallel here, trolling the BBS takes literally no effort and about 20% of the threads end up in residue.

It's an anomaly, it'll settle in a week. I don't see the need to hit the remainder of the 60000 prods with something that is only necessary for the last 5.

The first comment is shown as "last comment" in prod listing pages

"your watchlist" is strangely sorted (or better said, not sorted at all) + showing the avatar of the first user commented, not the last.
if it helps, I would say that this appeared within last 24 hours.

Pretty sure that's a result of the MariaDB migration.

I'm browsing the prods by a group, not a watchlist. http://www.pouet.net/groups.php?which=2878&order=latestcomment

Should be fixed both now.

I tried to add a demozoo link to http://www.pouet.net/party.php?which=107&when=1995, but I can't, because "it has no prods" (there is only an invitro listed on pouet).
and that invitro was for ptb5 which took place in 1997
fixed that now, so automagically the 1995 party doesnt appear anymore either
it could be argued this wasnt actually a bug, rather a feature(tm) ;)
