Nice energy with a couple of unexpected turns, and fairly tight mixing as well.

However, there's a lot of blends that doesn't work musically here, which ruins the experience for me. Get Lucky/Get Free and Le Voie Le Soleil/Half Light are good examples of blends that just makes me cringe.

I was quite happy with that. I'm using my monitor's sound via HDMI as my main output and my laptops's soundcard to cue with. The monitor's output is really bad with the sound being muffled to the point where it's really hard to tell if the beats are actually aligned or not. That's how ghetto my setup is. No CDJs or mixer. Just a beat-up netbook running Mixxx, connected to a monitor.



You know when you're in the middle of a transaction and you think "fuck, the vocals coming up on the next bar are in a different key!" and you embrace for the worst? That was 2 of those transitions. They could have both been made better by putting Get Free/Half Light on 75%ish volume and using the low-pass filter, but I get the feeling you mean - I had the same feeling at the time. :)
