Yes he can, he will just change his birthday!
(though he probably just doesn't kehr about that.)
Even moar pictures have been added to Slengpung!
Thanks again for this great party! my 2nd attempt at Revision and I love it... and now I got this demo party virus...

2014 my first product in the oldschool compo ranked #5
2015 my 2nd product ranked #11
2016 my 3rd product ranked #4

so... not bad from compo viewpoint... I met all the guys live who I do "meet" over the year via social media and what I like... even a lot of people there... it remains friendly! and that's cool about the "Echtzeitgrafik"-scene.

I even met the guys from Hungary and me speaking for a long time magyar! Kudos to Charlie and others! Maybe Function 2016! :)

so many talented people there, great live acts, amazing stage...

See you 2017!

- any chance to squeeze the shower container into the main hall next year?

IANAP (I am not a plumber) but I don't think this is a good idea. Water and expensive gear doens't really mix, also there simply isn't any space left in the main hall.

ACTUALLY there is a lot of space left between our heads and the roof. I suggest to use the space on the right side of the hall directly in that corner, were JCO and Ronny were siting this year (for those who weren't there: it’s where kb’s workplace was in the first eiditons of revision). We’d need stairs (and emergency stairs of course) as well as a structure that holds the container safely about 3 meters above ground. Maybe Siemens Lufthaken or some fancy drone technology could be used for these purposes. Well, maybe not next year but probably by the end of the decade.

We choose to go to the main hall in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too.
thanks for awesome party!
again :)

Anyone can help me in identifying a song?

It was playing during the Paint Over Compo:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkHsYGAVngw&feature=youtu.be&t=4m48s

It sound lika a mashup of 'Broken Wings' by Mr Mister and "Comic Bakery" by Martin Galway and it kicks ass!

Thanks!

Check on remix 64, it's from a compilation album of c64 and 80's pop mashups. Can't remember what it's called probably cosmic wings or broken bakery!

Time to recap:

Just as you think it can't be better, you come over the top once again. Even though I can't put a finger on last year, it just felt even better. Alright, enough sucking up to the ALL the orgas, don't you let Styx, Madame and whats-his-face take all the credit!

Although, I am not a fan of 2 big music events before the last compo block. That made the compos end so late I forgot to invade the orga-area with schnapps, and dance like hell afterwards :(

Memorable happenings:
Planning and executing DUB Quiz and Meteoriks back to back
Serving schnapps on the 5k run, ending up quite buzzed from all the schnapps (thanks Moqui and Salling)
Buying flowers for Madame, even though D.Fox gave us "the stare" afterwards
Accidentally inventing the Black Rainbow krawall challenge.
Being a jerk to Puryx for an hour, walking around with him on skype forcing him to talk to semi-drunk people.
Getting a new VIP badge everyday, not everyone had a gold badge, you know!
Listening to nic0 tell, once again, about this one girl he had a very special experience with, and I will not mention anything other than World of Warcraft, living with parents and schlagermusic!
Kräuterlikör

Not memorable things
Planning and executing DUB Quiz and Meteoriks back to back (stress overload) - sorry I forgot to present the teams, but had a strict deadline, so panicked a bit. Although more or less anyone at the party should know who you are! (Gasman, Hoffman, Kusma, Løgskubber, V3nom and saga musix). And Ramses for not being on the German team, come to TRSAC, you can have your very own team! :)

Revision is over just for a couple of days and we already miss all of you!

To give you the opportunity to wallow in memories, we gathered some links from all over the net and added them to our own resources - including the photowall (have fun with clicking through 2.600 photos).

Please send your links to pictures, videos and other things to hotline-2016@revision-party.net so we can share them with the rest.

Is there a chance to get a high quality/lossless version of this year's jingle? IIRC, JCO made it, is that correct? It sounds pretty cool.
Last year we got an instrumental and some hopes for an extended version, which seemingly has not been released, in the end.

Hi! I'm back from my first Revision ever!

Thank you very much for such a great party.

I really liked:

- organisation including (but not limited to):
- food (relatively good except pizza),
- Gasman's help with uploading my entry (it should go without saying that you can always expect this gentleman to help!)
- friendly Infodesk (and the earplugs!!!)
- tours around the orgas area (next time I'll try to not to miss the compo team one),
- the tunnel is long indeed but that's good - I was drinking less beer to not to miss any entry; design of the tunnel was quite cool too,
- toilets were clean all the time (probably the cleanest I've ever seen at a demoparty),
- water in the shower was still warm when I finally had a chance to go there,
- massive sound and the jingles (1 12 123 1234), EvilBot theme and all the details around,
- and of course - this huge friendly crowd or scene people and great productions (64k rules).

Things I personally liked less:

- pizza wasn't the greatest;
- the party place was way too loud for me during the night (for example at 4 am you had two different people playing extremely loud music (I can't even understand how they could stand it) and there was an actual DJ set played on top of it) - while I understand that this is the nature of the party, it could've been advertised better, just so people could've had proper expectations (I don't remember any other party that loud). I've been always more of a I-sleep-where-I-fall kinda guy, but next time the hotel is a must. On the other hand, it would be nice if people had just a little bit of respect to other sceners (not to mention of their poor ears).
- "VOTE EVILBOT 2016" stickers on the youtube uploads - they affect the viewing experience. Good thing is that both entries I want to watch are 64k each so won't take that much of my disk :-)

Also, I have some mixed feelings about recycling assets (but I can see there is already a new thread) and I'm also wondering where the border between scene and non-scene content is when it comes to songs. I'm not in a position to define what the scene is and I have no idea if "Broom Brom" is still a scene stuff but it's a bloody good song, I can't get it out of my head and its first place is well deserved. As mentioned on IRC, if all the "complaints" are about the recycling... then we should be happy that we have no other things to complain about!

So.... 1 12 123 1234 and see some of ye at the Outline I hope!
